The Trapdoor Called Equality

The Trapdoor Called Equality

There is a quiet rot eating at the edges of everything Hindu in India. Temples are stripped bare by state apparatchiks while mosques swell tax-free. Kashmiri Pandits rot in refugee camps while their exodus is called "communal tension" instead of ethnic cleansing.

But Hindu society still nods along to the secular sermon: We're all equal now. Level playing field. No one's out to get us. Is it so?

The truth is no true equality exists for Hindus in India today. In the old days the danger was the slashing sword. Today it's the mirror they hold up, convincing you the game's fair, so you'll drop your guard and bleed out slow.

If you're Hindu, you grew up believing "Independence" fixed it all, the Constitution as the great equalizer. Except it didn't. Article 14 promises equality but all hell breaks loose when Hindus invoke it.

State Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Acts across Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka seize temples, siphon 4 lakh crore rupees annually into general coffers. Mosques and churches? Untouched, self-governing, churning converts like assembly lines.

Why do you accept this? Because they trained you to see it as progress—the noble sacrifice of the generous majority, proof of your secular maturity. They've drilled it into you since kindergarten: real Hindus don't complain about "minorities," don't tally the score and never notice the slow exsanguination of your dharma into faceless state vaults.

You've been conditioned to cheer your own dispossession as enlightenment and mistake predation for pluralism, swallowing the lie that funding madrasas with your taxes while your mutts starve is somehow fair play.

But the courts are fixing it, you might say. Are they? Supreme Court dithers on temple board dissolution for decades, issues stay orders that lock in the theft, then pats itself on the back for "balancing rights." Waqf boards claim 9 lakh acres on a whim while Hindu endowments fight decade-long battles over a single ghat. Gyanvapi, Mathura? Endless PILs, zero possession.

Justice delayed isn't just denied here—it's designed denial, a perpetual motion machine of hearings that buries Hindu claims under procedure while minority encroachments harden into "fact".

You believe the lie because dharmic openness is your superpower and your Achilles' heel. You've been gaslit into thinking everyone plays by rules: live and let live, all paths valid, mutual respect as default. Except they don't. They never have.

Tens of thousands of foreign-funded Churches sprout strong across your land, seeding villages with "orphanages" that harvest souls. Madrasas multiply unchecked, their syllabi shielded from scrutiny, pumping out generations that are not coexistence but confrontation.

When modern Dharmic goodwill meets Abrahamic mandate, one expands by divine command, the other contracts by courtesy and you call it coexistence because facing the asymmetry would shatter your secular worldview.

Temples become tourist traps under atheist overseers; waqf swells into parallel sovereignty; school curricula whitewash Aurangzeb into a "composite culture" icon while your Puranas gather dust. Your pluralism is weaponized against you until Hindu space shrinks to footnotes.

The oh-shit moment of Hindu society— Realizing you're the mark—is still far off. They don't want your land by force anymore. They want you convinced there's no fight at all, just a big happy family where your generosity proves your superiority.

Self-disarmament is disguised as a virtue. So you vote for "secular" saviors who kneecap your civilizational spine. They promise "equality" while delivering Hindu disarmament. You elect them thinking you're the bigger person, but they wield your mandate like a garrote around your own community's neck. Your complacency is their accelerator, one unreciprocated concession at a time.

No equivalence exists, and that's the con. There's no level field because the rules themselves forbid Hindu reciprocity. You can't erect tax-free temple empires like Waqf boards; can't claw back autonomy for your mathas while minorities hoard Article 30 powers to build parallel empires. You can't even run your own schools without government interference.

Laws rig you in perpetual giver mode while the other side accelerates in full conqueror gear. How long before you realize that the "level playing field" is actually a trapdoor?

Still, the question isn't whether you'll wake up. The question is whether there'll be anything left to wake up to. Today, you can't even celebrate your festivals in your own land without police protection.

The conversion isn't complete, but it's in progress, bureaucratized, legalized, and celebrated as secularism. You can call this equality if it comforts you. Your grandchildren won't have that luxury. They'll call it by its proper name: conquest by consent. The only question left is whether you'll hand them a civilization or a civics textbook explaining why it had to die.
